Private residential is HXL's core work. Principal contractor on new builds, whole-house refurbishments, major extensions, loft conversions and basement excavations for homeowners. Schemes typically £500k to £3m+, delivered under JCT Standard or Design & Build, 10 to 24 month programmes.

Multi-unit residential delivery. Blocks of flats, townhouse rebuilds, multi-plot schemes. Handed over resale-ready. Appointed by private developers and investor clients under JCT Design and Build. Schemes up to ~£5m+.

Heritage & Period Work

Heritage-sensitive construction across some of London's most tightly-regulated stock, Grade II listed Kensington and Chelsea townhouses, Hampstead conservation-area Victorian semis, Marlow Old Town Georgian homes. Coordinated with heritage consultants, Conservation Officers and specialist trades.
